Literature Text

Necessity sparks my invention,
Belligerence defies my intention.
A caring hand to notice my error,
A soothing teacher to ease my terror

Because I was born
I understand power
We blame it on the other
And continue to walk the walk.

A familiar feeling guides me,
My greater judgment defies me
I lift out my hand from my sorrow
To promise remembrance tomorrow.

Because I exist
My earth is my playground
My small childish tears
Do just as they are told

I count my world as my mother
For her, I will defend each other
I try to decide what I'm seeing
In the end, I'll be stuck believing.

A cold windy day
Reminds me of my sorrows
I find the solutions
I can fly just like those before me

I am hopeful for the skies of tomorrow
As from my mother I borrow
The hope and the skill to free their will
I continue to watch from the winter hill
I... I had an idea earlier but forgot it. All I could remember was the title...
So I made this out of it.
Mother.

Today was a special day. I can only get a rhyme out if I'm lucky.
The italics are, yes, written by me too. I just needed some kind of separation between the two types of writing, almost as if one could dismiss the italics completely.

Necessity, is by the way, the mother of invention.
